Airline Model 62-9015A tube 2x12 combo amp in Minn-St. Paul MN for $300

This 50 watt Danelectro built Airline tube amp has been somewhat modified but if you know your way around basic amp circuits or have a pal who does I am sure you could bring it back to original specs. Pyle speakers are not the greatest choice for this amp so you may want to switch those out.

I would expect the closed back design makes this a farrly loud 50 watt combo.

Here is a really cool old tube amp. Model 62-9015a. This was made for Montgomery Wards in the 60s. It was made by dan Electro or Valco. The original twin 12 inches speakers have been replaced with Plye speakers. 50watts. The amp has been wired with a speaker bypass so you can just use the amp and plug into a PA or other speakers. I am not original owner. It has been rewired so only one channel works. It works great and sounds great. The reverb and vibrato work too. $300 firm, but open to trades. Please refer to the amp if you respond to this listing so I know you are a real person and not a scammer. I am in south st. paul and can meet or deliver around the metro. Google airline 62-9015a to learn more about this cool amp.

  1. Props for this amp. I have a head version, dated by pot code to 1964. It was removed from the 2-12 cabinet sometime in the past and mounted in a nice head shell with the addition of an output jack. It has a warm clear tone and can get slightly dirty when dimed. It is my favorite amp and I use it with a vintage Jensen.
