Vintage Airline 2 Pickup Electric on ebay - Unusual Model - going... going...

ve never seen this particular model Airline electric with these specific pickups so it is an interesting find. The neck style and body say 1958 thru 1963 and the body is close to a Supro I've seen a few times (usually with one pickup) but that Tailpiece is whack! What the heck is that? Not a Bigsby but some sort of USA made variation? And those pickups look like DeArmond high end models but from the mid to late 1960's - like the ones on my H75 - which means this guitar may or may not sound great. There is no way to know without hearing/playing it. The other features all seem pretty nice, bound (baseball bat) neck and standard Valco 4-knob controls.

I'll be curious to see what this ends up going for...
