Model number 731-00111. Small-bodied, all solid wood construction, arched back. Shown next to full-size Seagull for comparison. Made in West Germany. Straight neck, plays great with low action and room to lower it more if necessary. 63 years of playing has left a lot of dents scratches and playwear, but guitar is structurally sound. Luthier owned, I replaced the first three frets and dressed the rest so they are like new. The guitar needs nothing but a new loving home. $125 or best offer. Call 612-306-8444

  1. I live in St. Paul and picked up this beauty yesterday. What a guitar! It was indeed owned by a luthier, a guy named Sky. It is in perfect playing condition, and the scratches only make it look cooler. Perfect little parlor.

  3. i know this is a little late, but that guitar is a 1973 model. it's 73 for the year and either and "L" or "I" for the month. the model is 00111 and i'm pretty sure they didn't make them in 1948. mine says 74L. i looked it up on the Framus website. Still a good deal, good travel guitar with great sound and a big neck for that small body. picked mine up in kansas city for 15 bucks and two oranges from a man who found it in a dumpster.
