1950's Harmony H/52 Stratotone Newport in Sarasota Springs NY for $500

Here is a real old solid body electric - yellow is one of the original colors along with gold and green.  This one has the "Harmometal trim" (basically chrome binding) on the body and looks like it is all original; these came with stacked Vol and Tone and a tone defeat switch to go from muted to bright.  These early Stratotones aren't set neck or through the body - the neck and body were actually carved from one single piece of wood.  Makes for a hell of a slide guitar.  These H42 models are serious collector guitars from the mid-century - I don't know if they play as well as the H44 models but they are certainly hard to find.

1955 Harmony stratotone newport guitar. It is in good condition with 2 dents in the metal on the bottom. From what we found out these are very rare and the value is over $1000 if they are in mint condition. There is no case with it but it did come with extra strings.
