Fender 62 Strat RI? w newer pickups in Atlanta for $650

I am not sure what this seller is getting at saying this "could be a 62" - Does he mean 62 RI? He says the trussrod adjustment is not on the headstock but it looks like I see one in his photo so maybe he is confused. Anyway the maple fretboard on this looks like it might be 20+ years old (or older) so this could easily be one of the early 1984-85 Corona, CA 62 RI's made in the Smith era. Those are very desireable. The Noiseless vintage pickups would have to be a more recent addition; this is one to be approached carefully but with a little research since the owner doesn't seem to know it's history very well.

Selling my Strat. Guitar is in great shape, Not sure what year it is but a local guitar store lookd at it and said it could be a 62. They are saying so becasue of the way it was build, the neck and the body. Truss rod is on the bottom of the neck and not on the head stock. Guitar has noisless vintage pickups in it as well. Plays amazing and everyting works great, its just not my style. call 801-859-1799 for more information
