Magnatone MP-1 in Charlotte NC for $300

This Estey Magnatone does not have the True Vibrator circuit, however it has been adapted to us 6V tubes instead of the much more pricey and rare 7189A so what your are basically getting is a vintage Deluxe Reverb amp for $300. Not bad at all.

Note: Magnatone quality and construction is on par with same era Fender (if not better). These amps sold for higher prices at the time than the Fender counterparts.

Magnatone MP-1 amplifier. 20 watts, reverb and tremolo. 2 x 6V6 power tubes and 4 x 12AX7's. Someone has removed the original power tube sockets and put in the 6V6's. Sounds good. Has two separate channels; one for microphone input and one for instruments. The microphone input sounds a bit darker than the instrument channel. The instrument channel has the reverb and tremolo effects, as well as bass and treble tone controls. There is a recording/normal switch that reduces overall volume in the recording mode. $300 or best offer.

Location: Rock Hill, SC

I am reposting items here that are listed on CRAIGSLIST throughout the USA. I am not selling any of these items and I cannot facilitate the sale of anything here - so please do not comment or post questions like "Is this still available?" or "I am interested in your guitar please call me, etc." You need to contact the seller directly by calling the phone number listed on the post or by going to the CL listing and emailing them. NEW FEATURE: Click on the title of the CL Listing inside my post to LINK thru to the original Post. If the original CL listing is deleted the item most likely is no longer available. Please don't call, contact, bother or harass these sellers long after their post is expired. Take for granted if the listing is over 30 days old that the guitar or amp is LONG GONE! Thank you.
