Sound Projects Tube Amp in Athens GA for $150

This is most likely a little 50C5 transformerless amp - but they are still kind of cool low wattage amps - note that Sound projects has no relation to Valco - they went on to form Lectrolab amps out of their factory in Cicero IL.

Small Valco-made tube amp (Sound Projects) from the 1950s - approx 4-5 watts - completely recapped and brought up to specs by Steve Hunter in Athens. This small amp (approx 11" x 13") is in amazing condition especially since its cabinet is made of pressed cardboard. It has a beautiful tweed-like finish with excellent grill cloth - 8" alnico speaker - great tone! This is a collectible amp at a player's amp price...
