1965 Univox U-48B in Vermont for $150







As you can probably tell, I am a fan of these old Univox amps - and this simple little 112 tube combo is right up there with the best of them. The 6BM8 is a Japanese variation on 6V and I'd put the output of this more realistically at about 12 watts - but they crunch up nicely and sound great with humbuckers. The Tremolo is nothing to write home about so get this one for tone.

univox 20w? 2x 6bm8 output tubes. one 12ax7 pre. one ac 188-5 rectifier . One 12" speaker. top mounted controls like all the new "retro style" tube jobs. nice bedroom rock n roll amp. did I mention the tubes are RCA GE- no Russian crap. 40 Years of MOJO workin in this baby. Selling CHEAP to trade up. firm $150
